Amongst the ancient civilizations of the world, the Harappan Civilization I the largest and the greatest of all. Harappan Civilization reached its glory with the toil and ingenuity of the original inhabitants but the Manuvadi System brought in by the Aryans divided the society into castes and led the society towards gradual degradation. In counteraction to such degraded milieu, tathagata Buddh emerged as the torchbearer of the heterodox ideology, Buddha liberated society from the shackles of superstition, rotten traditions and paved the way for a scientific, rational, and humanistic ideology which the greatest king Ashoka took to the whole world. Coincidently, Pushyamitra Shung, through his treacherous ill designs, grabbed power and established the unethical, oppressive Manuwadi System, This mechanism enslaved a large population and reinstated the erstwhile atrocious system which continues to date.
Sadly, even after about seven decades of independence, this sordid saga of discrimination and atrocity on Bahujan continues unabated.
